Michael Jackson Forever In Our Hearts

I've been very upset about Michael Jackson's death, and since his birthday is coming up I felt like I had to do something. I spent Thursday and Friday making this short video tribute to the King of Pop. I hope people will view it and enjoy it, even though it's a little sad.

Back Home

Finally back home in NJ and jet lagged like crazy. Actually, it's getting better because I've been back for a couple of days now. Even though I had fun, it feels good to be home. I missed my dog, my room, my things (my bed especially). The bad thing though, is that classes starts soon, September 1st to be exact. In the past, I have had a rough time with school. I'm an art student and the amount of work is stressful and hard to handle. Since I received an email from the school this summer saying they changed the time of one of my classes, I might have to drop a class, which will be horrible because it'll put me behind even more than I already am. I've been to college for 3 years now, but I transfered to a different school after 2 and many of my credits didn't transfer, so that means that I have 2 more years to go (total of 5 years in college). Now the problem with this class is that dropping it would put me behind a whole year (not just one semester) because it's "part 1" of that particular class. Part 1 is only offered in the fall, and Part 2 is only offered in the Spring, and I can't take Part 2 before Part 1. That makes it 3 more years instead of 2 (total of 6 years in college). It makes me feel like they just keep adding on the years and I'm never going to get out of school. Brings me down a lot.

Seven Times Around Equals Love?

I've been in Israel since July 9th visiting my relatives. A few days ago we went to the grave of Ammuqa. My mother's friend told me about a tradition or superstition, or whatever you want to call it, that if a woman walks around the grave seven times, she will soon find love. Well, I'm 21 years old and never had a boyfriend. I'm not quite sure if I'm superstitious or believe in these things, but I walked around the grave seven times anyway. Got nothing to lose right? I'll give it six months to a year before I start thinking it's all a bunch of crap...

"To A Night We'll Never Forget..."

I saw "The Hangover" again today with my cousins. This is the 4th time I've seen this movie already, and let me just say it still rocks and I can't get enough of it. I don't remember there being a movie that has made me laugh so hard for so long before. Definitely my favorite movie of the year - at least so far.

"The Hangover" is about three friends who take their fourth friend, Doug, out to Las Vegas for a bachelor party before his wedding. The next morning they wake up with no memory of what happened the previous night and Doug is nowhere to be found. They spend their day trying to retrace their steps and find their friend. Chaos ensues as obstacle after obstacle presents itself as a consequence of the previous night.

View the trailer (and remember that the trailer is nothing compared to the movie, which might actually be a good thing because it doesn't give away the funny parts!):

New

This is my first blog ever. I've been wanting to join for a while, but I never actually did before because my thoughts were preventing me from doing so. Thoughts like geez, what will I even write about? and are people even going to be interested in whatever I have to say? ...Let's just say I think too much. I decided to finally make a blog and see what happens - go with the flow. This might be a really fun way to express things that I think, feel, experience, like/dislike, and share photographs and videos. Pretty much anything. It'll be cool to meet people who share the same interests or people who can offer some good advice. On the other hand, if nobody reads any of this it'll still be okay. It'll be like a diary or a collection of anything I want to make note of.
